The Star of Texas Inn is now open for business! We proudly offer a relaxing place to stay in central Austin. We are near downtown and the University of Texas.

You can check availability or book a room with our online reservation system. Our rates start at $85, and go up to $225.

We offer a nice place for travelers of all types, whether honeymooners, business travelers or folks just getting away. We have a large wraparound porch, and above that, a balcony that overlooks the neighborhood. Either is perfect for lazy afternoons.

We have a high speed, wireless Internet connection available to our guests, and several of our rooms have desks for doing work. We also have a parlor for meeting people or just hanging out.
